Creating My Tagline
Last week I shared with you the story of what happened to lead me to creating a new website and then I gave you a tour of the site. This week I share the story behind how I came up with my tagline.
Story, art and lifestyle is the tagline for this blog. Story and art were a no brainer, but I thought do I want every blog post to be about story or art. The word lifestyle kept popping in my head, but I didn’t know if that was a lane for me. What is a lifestyle blog? Better yet what would my lifestyle blog bring to the table?
After researching and giving it some thought my take on lifestyle is that it’s something that can be customized to suit the individual. Every one of us has to curate the life or lifestyle that we want. Want the organized life, luxurious life, travel life — whatever type of life you want; you have to take the steps to create it. Life is the big picture outlook, but it applies to the parts within the make up of our lifestyle, like our home, our wellness, or family.
Now with the information I just shared I went back to my earlier two questions:
What is a lifestyle blog?
What would my lifestyle blog bring to the table?
What is a Lifestyle Blog?
In general a lifestyle blog is creating content based on personal interests and daily activities. Some bloggers niche down to things like fashion, food, home decor, or fitness. Other bloggers are more fluid and incorporate different categories into their lifestyle blog.
What would my lifestyle blog bring to the table?
Here is where I landed on for what my blog will bring to the table. Creating content based on personal interests and daily activities which either informs, entertains or inspires the reader.
Now I’m comfortable with story, art and lifestyle being my tagline. Comment below with a tagline that represents either you, your business, or blog.
